TEMPAT KONVENSI DI DUNIA

1. Argentina (Patio De La Madeira)

The Patio de la Madera, (Centro de Exposiciones y Convenciones Complejo Patio de la Madera) is a "Convention and Exposition Centre" complex located in Rosario, province of Santa Fe, Argentina, occupying two blocks opposite the Mariano Moreno Bus Terminal, near the geographic center of the city. The formal name is almost never used; the shorter form Centro de Convenciones Patio de la Madera is preferred even in official communications.
The main buildings provide room for conventions, lectures and conferences, artistic exhibitions and shows, etc., with an auditorium for 1,800 people and six smaller facilities with capacities between 120 and 370 people. There are 4,000 m² of covered area for exhibitions (plus another 1,000 semi-covered and 7,200 outdoors).
The complex also includes two nightclubs, an amphitheater, a park area with modern sculptures and a small artificial lake, two international cuisine restaurants, a fast food restaurant, and parking space for 250 vehicles.
The site of the Patio de la Madera was a former train station, a terminal of the Ferrocarril General Manuel Belgrano railway company that was abandoned when, in 1987, the cargo facilities were shut down and the rails were removed. The site was gradually recovered by the municipal government, starting during the administration of Mayor Horacio Usandizaga. By the early 2000s it was already a well-known center for national and international cultural activities.

2. Australia
- The Adelaide Convention Centre

is a large convention centre on North Terrace, Adelaide, Australia. It was the first purpose-built convention centre to be built in Australia.
The convention centre was constructed over part of the Adelaide Railway Station, together with the Hyatt Regency Hotel (now the InterContinental Hotel), Exhibition Hall and an office block in the 1980s as part of the Adelaide Station and Environs Redevelopment (ASER) project. It has been rebuilt and extended upon a few times since its original construction in 1987.In 1999 an extension was planned  and in late 2001 it was unveiled. It was designed by Larry Oltmanns who was a design partner with SOM at the time. The project won the Royal Australian Institute of Architects 2002 Awards of Merit: BHP Colourbond Steel Award, Interior Architecture and New Building.
SOM’s expansion and renovation of Adelaide’s Convention Centre reconnected historic parts of the city to the waterfront. Built on space assembled from air rights over a rail yard, the new facility shares a site with the Old and New South Australia State Parliament Houses, the Adelaide Exhibition Hall, the Festival Centre, and the Adelaide Railway Station - Casino. The SOM project, was completed with Adelaide architects Woods-Bagot Pty Ltd.,and conformed to the Adelaide Riverbank Master Plan. Its "rational cooking system", the largest of any convention centre in the world, is equipped to serve 4,000 dinners in 20 minutes. The centre's main Plenary Hall can house up to 3,500 people in full convention mode.

-Melbourne Convention Center
The old Convention Centre on the opposite side of the Yarra River was opened in May 1990 and has hosted thousands of conventions and meetings. The building was originally intended to be used by the Melbourne Museum but Jeff Kennett intervened during construction to have the building used as a convention centre.
The new Convention Centre, on land adjacent to the Exhibition Centre, was completed in 2009. At a cost of A$1 billion, the development consists of a 5541 seat Plenary Hall that can be divided into three separate theatres, 32 meeting rooms of various sizes, a grand banquet room as well as a Hilton hotel, office, residential and retail space. It was developed by a consortium led by Brookfield Multiplex and Plenary Group and designed by Larry Oltmanns. The new centre uses a range of features in order to achieve a 6 Star Green Star environmental rating and to become the first convention centre in the world with that rating. The architects for the development were NH Architecture and Woods Bagot.
The new Melbourne Convention Centre was awarded the Australian Construction Achievement Award in 2010.

-The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre closed in December 2013 to make way for the new Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct at Darling Harbour, due to be completed for the end of 2016.An interim facility for large consumer and trade shows, Sydney Exhibition Centre @ Glebe Island, opened in February 2014 and will operate during the construction of the new Darling Harbour facilities.
The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre was located in Sydney's Darling Harbour near the Central Business District. The site of the building was adjacent to Cockle Bay, Tumbalong Park and the Harbourside shopping centre.
The Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre was a key meeting venue of APEC Australia 2007 in September, 2007 when the political leaders of the 21 member states of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation met. The venue was host to the Business Leader's Summit held in conjunction with APEC Leader's Week.
